Dr Anthony Adrian Colletta

Dr Colletta was most recently CEO and head of the healthcare equity and PIPES funds at Satellite Asset Management UK LLP. Previously he was Managing Director responsible for global healthcare equity research at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in London and, from 1995 to 2000 was head of healthcare equity research and investment banking at ABN AMRO as well as leading the healthcare group at ABN AMRO private equity. From 1984 to 1992 Dr Colletta was a scientist working in endocrine oncology at King's College Hospital in London, at The National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, USA and the Department of Clinical Biochemistry at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge University. He was a group head at the Institute of Cancer Research and Royal Marsden Hospital in London from 1992 to 1995 and remains a lifetime honorary research fellow there. From 1997 to 2001 Dr Colletta was a non-executive director of Neutec Pharma PLC. He was awarded a Doctorate from King's College Hospital School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Stephen Brindle

Before joining In Vivo Capital, Mr Brindle worked at Eden Financial Ltd, and was responsible for establishing the healthcare team there. During this time he specialised in corporate fund-raisings for both private and public companies, participating in deals typically ranging between £5m-£10m in value, across a number of different healthcare sub-sectors, including biotechnology and medical devices. Before that, between 1997 and 2004, he was in institutional equity sales, most recently with Citigroup and Goldman Sachs, where he focused on global pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare stocks, and between 1997 and 1999 he was a member of the healthcare team at ABN AMRO. From 1991 to 1997 Mr Brindle worked as a management consultant. His first job after graduating was with a small technology-transfer consultancy in Manhattan. Upon returning to London he worked for Newchurch & Co., a specialist healthcare firm, and the healthcare practice of Deloitte Consulting. He holds an economics degree from the London School of Economics.

Dr William Thomas Mason

Dr Mason works with companies focused in the healthcare, life sciences, medtech and diagnostic markets. He is on the Board of Amarin plc, a mid-cap pharmaceutical company listed on NASDAQ and AIM. Dr Mason was Chairman of Cytomyx Holdings plc, a biotechnology products and services company which he floated on the LSE in 2001. He is non-executive Chairman or Director of Amarin, Ranier Technology, Sphere Medical, Camlab, Zygem, Team Consulting and OrthoMimetics. Dr Mason is also a Director of Sage Healthcare Ltd, providing strategic transactional and consultancy services to a wide range of healthcare companies operating in pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, medical devices and biotechnology. During a distinguished academic career leading a medical research team in Cambridge, Dr Mason founded two high technology healthcare companies which he grew through private equity funding and acquisitions, and sold to major international quoted companies including Perkin Elmer and DMGT. He has experience of both quoted and unquoted companies, as well as several charitable trusts involved in the arts. Dr Mason gained a PhD from Trinity College, Cambridge, in Physiology.
